General enquiries
What age is Giggle Kitchen designed for?
Ages 5-10. Younger chefs will want a grown-up close by; older ones can take on more themselves. Every recipe is written so kids can lead.
Will I need to be involved?
Yes - that's the fun part. Your child is head chef; you're the sous chef. You're on oven duty, taste tests and the occasional bit of encouragement. The recipe card handles the rest.
How long does each recipe take?
Our recipes are designed to be completed within 60 minutes, depending on your chef. Best saved for an evening or weekend when you're not rushing though!
How many does each box feed?
4 people - 2 adults and 2 kids, or 2 adults and 1 kid with leftovers. We're working on expanding to bigger and smaller families though!
Do I need to buy any ingredients?
Almost everything is in the box. Occasionally you'll need a pantry item or two (this month: 1 egg and olive or vegetable oil). We'll always tell you in advance.
Will it always be vegetarian boxes?
No. We're planning a range of meat and plant-based options in future - we're just getting started. Sign up to the newsletter to hear first.
How do I pause, skip or cancel?
Head to your account page. Any trouble, email dan@gigglekitchen.co.uk and we'll sort it.
Are there more recipes coming?
Yes! Every month brings a brand new theme and recipes. In future you'll be able to pick your own recipes too - we're just getting started.
Do you cater for allergens?
We can't currently swap ingredients in the box, but we're happy to suggest alternatives based on your family's allergens - email dan@gigglekitchen.co.uk. Full allergen info is on every recipe card and the product page.
Where can I find nutritional and allergen information?
On the product page, updated monthly with each box. It's also on every recipe card.
Do you offer gift subscriptions?
Not yet - but a one-off box makes a brilliant gift! Gift subscriptions are on the way. Subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
Do you offer other sized boxes for smaller or bigger families?

Is the packaging recyclable?
Almost all of it, yes - see our recycling guide for what goes where.
Delivery enquiries
When will my box arrive?
On your nominated delivery day (Thursday or Friday), with DPD tracking so you know exactly when.
Where do you deliver?
UK mainland, via DPD's next day network. We can't currently reach the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man or Northern Ireland - sorry!
What are your delivery days?
Thursday or Friday - you pick at checkout.
When do I need to order by?
Monday noon for Thursday delivery, Tuesday noon for Friday delivery. You can also select future weeks.
How do you ensure freshness of food during transit?
Recyclable insulation and ice packs keep everything cool for up to 48 hours - and ingredients stay fresh for at least 4 days after arrival.
What are the delivery times?
DPD Next Day deliveries typically arrive between 8am and 8pm. You'll get a 1-hour window on the day.
How do I track my delivery?
DPD will send you an SMS and/or email with a 1-hour delivery window and live tracking.
What if I am not home to accept the delivery?
Update your DPD preferences from your tracking notification - you can choose a safe place or a neighbour. The insulated packaging keeps things cool if you're out for a few hours.
What if something arrives damaged or missing?
Email dan@gigglekitchen.co.uk with a photo and we'll put it right.
