Recycling your Giggle Kitchen box
We've worked hard to keep our packaging planet-friendly. Almost everything can be recycled or composted at home - here's what goes where.
The Box
100% cardboard. Flatten it and pop it in your kerbside recycling. (Feel free to let your chef colour it in first.)
The cool bag
100% cardboard, despite its clever insulating powers. Recycle it with your usual cardboard.
Packing peanuts
100% home compostable - straight into your compost or food waste. Or, for the fun option: they dissolve in water.
Ice packs
The gel is water-based - snip a corner and dissolve the contents under a running tap, then check the packet for what to do with the empty pouch.
Flour & sugar bags
100% home compostable - into the compost or food waste they go.
Recipe cards, chef's hats & activity sheets
All printed on paper and card - straight into your kerbside recycling. Though between the colouring, the games and the restaurant menu collection, we suspect most of it never makes it to the bin.
Branded ingredients
Tins, tubs and packets (like our tomatoes and mozzarella) - check the label on each item, as recycling varies by brand and by council.
